I first met Nurse Shaunna a the Hampton motet in Derby at 9:20 pm after she received an email from the PT. He had spoke with me and I told him about not being able to do PT because of being non weight bearing and every time I put my leg down my foot turned purple to almost black.
She made a phone call to me and said she’d be there in 20 minutes, she was and spent quite some time with me. She decided she needed to call my surgeon in KC the next day.
I believe she was more concerned than he was. Thank you, Shaunna!
I had taken a fall while visiting our son in KC and shattered my ankle and broke my ribs, also a boob, although I can’t get any one to document that one, not even Shaunna! At this same time we were having our house flooring redone, hence the stay at the motel.
Somehow after moving back to the house, I may have said I was cleaning on one knee because it was left a complete mess and so dusty.
NOW let me tell you, if lecturing some one on cleaning before the cleaning ladies come, she win this hands down!
She actually cares for her patients and deserves to be acknowledged for making a difference in her profession.
Thank you, Shaunna!
