We were so scared when mom came home from the hospital. I was terrified I’d do something wrong or miss a symptom. But then God sent us Nurse Shaunna. She listened to our fears and cared for my mother as if she were her own. She eased our worries with her incredible medical knowledge and soothed our hearts with her incredibly kind bedside manor. She held my mothers hand on the bad days and cheered her on with the small victories. I’ve never met someone more suited for nursing than Nurse Shaunna and I will be eternally grateful for her presence in our lives.
